Streaming sounds straight from your own buttons
CYPAD plays your clips from a button or inside a routine, with per-key volume, repeat and stop. One library, no separate audio desks.
One library, three ways to open it
CYPAD keeps every clip in a single library, with no separate soundboards or audio grids. Open it from the Play sound action on any button, from the Sounds button in the toolbar or from Settings → Features → Sounds.
When you open it from a button editor, the catalogue appears on top without closing or losing the draft: preview the clip, pick it and carry on configuring the key.
- Search by name or category
- Import several files at once
- Preview before choosing
Categories that keep the library tidy
You can create, rename and delete categories to group effects, music or alerts. Deleting a category moves its sounds to Uncategorized and never deletes a file.
The library accepts WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OPUS and WEBM as long as Chromium can decode the content. Previews stop when the catalogue closes.
Volume, repeat and stop per button
Each sound stores a default volume and repeat setting, and each button can keep them or define its own. The action settings are optional: without them the sound values apply, and an explicit zero or "do not repeat" is respected.
The action also decides the behaviour: play, toggle or stop. You can have one key firing the intro sound and another cutting it dead. Clips come out through the audio output that is active in Windows, like any other system audio.
Inside routines and macros
A sound can be one more step in a routine, next to scene changes, waits or commands. In Gamer mode, macros combine keyboard shortcuts, sounds, waits, commands and OBS controls in a single press.
Your files stay where they are
CYPAD plays files from their original location: it does not copy them to any server or upload them. If you move a file outside the app, point to its new location from Edit sound.
Removing a sound from the library never deletes the original file. While a button is using it, the sound cannot be removed: change that button first.
Free to try, Pro for the stream
The sound library, routines and OBS control are part of CYPAD Pro, which costs €9 once. The Free plan includes 1 profile and up to 6 active buttons with the basic actions, with no time limit.
CYPAD installs free from the Microsoft Store and runs on Windows 10 and 11. The Pro key is pasted in Settings → Account → License.
Sound keys worth planning
On stream, one key per sound usually works better than a crowded panel: a short effect for alerts, waiting music on repeat and one key to stop playback. As the library grows, search and categories do the rest.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play a sound without creating a button?
Yes. Open Sounds in the toolbar or Settings → Features → Sounds and use the preview. To fire it during a stream you need a key or a routine step.
Which formats does the library accept?
WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OPUS and WEBM, as long as Chromium can decode the content.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. CYPAD plays them from their original location on your PC and does not copy them to a server.
Why can I not remove a sound?
Because a button is using it. Change that button first, then remove the sound. Removing a sound never deletes the file.
Do I need extra hardware?
No. Sounds play through the audio output that is active in Windows; no microphone or external desk is required.
